1976 GT Turbo Corvette
The Wrap Lab has seen it’s fair share of vehicles roll through the bay doors, but none quite as unique as this 1976 Corvette. Chief Corvette Engineer Zora Arkus-Duntov and John Greenwood teamed up in the early 70’s to create these rare wide body corvettes..
Our good friend, Jim Blackbeard, was looking to freshen up the cars look, and asked up to come take a look. The body was in rough shape, but we accepted the challenge. First order of business was a thorough cleaning, followed by some slight disassembly. After laying our first piece of vinyl on the t-top, we realized this Corvette was going to need a little extra love to give it a smooth glossy finish in the end. A day was spent wet sanding the body to knock down all the high spots, but the final result was well worth the extra time in prep.
Blackbeard was thrilled. The 3M Gloss Fiery Orange brought out every sexy curve you couldn’t see with the previous flat black finish. 3D Carbon Fiber was used as a custom accent on the hood to complete the custom look. There is only 1 way to describe the experience that I had with CRD. Masterful, detailed, and customer focused. I have a 2013 Miata hardtop that was Cranberry color. Wanted to change the color entirely. Wanted a racing vibe so I selected orange with black highlights. After going through some needs and help with design, CRD accomplished the mission with flying colors. Not only did they pay attention to detail,, they spent time adding to surfaces I had not planned to make the car more personal. I wanted to find a shop to wrap and color match the grille on my F150, XLT Sport models get a dark grey painted grille; color is "Magnetic Metallic". There are numerous shops further east near I95, but I wanted to find someone as close to Wellington as possible. CRD being located in the commerce park is perfect. I stopped in on a Monday morning and they were easily able to schedule me in for Wednesday, showed me an identical matching 3M wrap color. Since I live close, they offered to pick up my truck and even dropped it off when the truck was done. That alone is worth its weight in gold, I don't have to plan on catching a ride, uber etc....

Chuck did an excellent Job on our new Jeep. We had him black out all the Chrome and it looks awesome. Him & his wife are great people. We would highly recommend them and their company to everyone.
