Porsche 911RSR
What an honor to collaborate with a legend in the world of Racing Livery Design like Dave Schnorr on this Porsche 911 RSR. This race car was the 2015 Petit Le Mans overall winner and for the next stage of it’s illustrious career it needed a fresh wrap with graphics before making an appearance at the Monterey Car Week and heading to Atlanta to be admired at the Porsche Experience Museum.
With a tight deadline and a complete graphics restoration to complete, Dave called us to lend a hand. The project began with a full removal of the race worn wrap and graphics and any necessary deconstruction.Next up was laying down the base color change wrap, in 3M Gloss White, ensuring every detail was flawless. The next stage of installation was the custom graphics layover. These were printed, laminated and die cut at CRD Wraps. Special attention was required to make sure the gradient fade was an exact replica of the original Race Livery.
As the final graphics were painstakingly placed, and the racing legend was rolled out into the sun, you could almost hear the sounds of the race track in your ear. Big or small, we take pride in every project we encounter and can’t wait to see what you bring us next!
