Complete Custom Race Livery

Not wanting to begin race season with last years look, this twin turbo Porsche 993 came into the Wrap lab for a complete graphics restoration and wrap. But don’t let this Porsche’s age mislead you, with top speeds over 200MPH, we needed to give it classic style with a modern feel that looked as fast as the car itself.

As soon as the 993 TT was rolled off the trailer, we got to work. First task was to measure and document all the original graphics and begin the removal process. With the original wrap, decals and glue removed, a professional was brought in to repair some minor damage on the carbon fiber body prior to installation. With a smooth surface, template graphics were designed and tweaked to fit exactly, these would be the layout for the tri-tone base color wrap. All the original decals that the owner asked to replace were recreated in Ai, this ensured they could be die-cut to eliminate the old bumper sticker look.

Bringing this Porsche race car back to life was a highly detailed project, but nothing was more satisfying than seeing the final result roll out of the CRD Wraps shop. From the smooth and classy base color wrap that accentuated the sexy Porsche look we all love, to the crazy Borg Werner Turbo Graphic strategically placed over the rear tires, this Porsche is ready to blaze past the finish line.
